As you know, I went through a crafty phase during the holidays during which I joined Pinterest. Pinterest is addictive because it is full of internet users who have “pinned” their favorite recipes, crafts, ideas, pictures, blogs, videos,… well, you can find almost everything.
Among these gems I have found is this internet meme: The Ridiculously Photogenic Guy.
Source
He is this dude named Zeddie Little who randomly got his picture taken during a marathon and I must admit, he is ridiculously photogenic.
Which leads me to this next picture: Ridiculously Photogenic Loki.
And this picture. [The story is AMAZING by the way.]
And oh look! It’s Ridiculously Photogenic Thor.
Oh alright. I admit it. I have seen the Avengers and I LOVED IT! When R was home a couple of weeks ago, we took the kids to see it right before we got married again. It was so cool! The wedding was awesome too but the Avengers are so awesome! I won’t give anything away and I searched for a link to the movie trailer but all of them seem to be down right now.
Honestly, I think the little girl in me still believes in superheroes. The thirty-something me thinks that it is silly to believe that superheroes could save the world but is it? Superheroes are flawed, whether it is arrogance or naivety or whatever Stan Lee has thrown their way. And yet despite these flaws, superheroes still fight against supervillains, against Norse gods turned bad, against evil in our world.
And yet despite our flaws, superheroes still fight for us.
Have you seen the Avengers? What did you think? No spoilers please.
I saw “The Avengers” in 3D and despite finding the high-adrenaline crashing and exploding and destruction excessive and exhausting, and the plot preposterous, I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and dialogue. This is a rave review coming from someone who doesn’t like action films and usually watches Merchant-Ivory-type period costume dramas and slow-paced foreign films.
Hi there! I have yet to see any movie in 3D, not counting Captain EO at Disneyland. The characters were great had only had hundreds of comics and a previous blockbuster as backstory. Wow, that was a rave review! Thanks for stopping by. 🙂 Alma
